Café Banacado

Stockholm, Sweden 75 m2.

A café environment that transports the visitor away from the reality outside. By working with light, color and spatial design the goal has been to create a warm atmosphere with a clear and cinematic character. The interior references to Wes Andersons movie compositions that often follow a symmetrical one point perspective. A constructed perfection that can make a space feel somewhat unreal.

Reminiscence

Gothenburg, Sweden 25 m2.

The proposal for the new café building in Brunnsparken materialises the concept of a new addition that reaweakens an old memory on site. The modern part in wood with its sleek industrial windows mirrors the imprint on the site, the monumetal and classical part of the facade, impregrnated with iron oxide. The details in stainless steel such as the roof, base and the centrally placed gutter unify the two parts into one entity.
